Our volunteers make a real impact in helping us raise vital funds for the Aegis Trust to support their vision of a world free from prejudice and mass atrocities.
We have lots of brilliant opportunities in our stores and donation centre. No matter your skills, experience or interests, we'll have something to suit you, simply check out the roles on offer below.
Customer service
The role of a customer service volunteer is to engage with our customers, in a friendly and welcoming way. You will also speak with our customers about the Aegis Trust and how their purchase makes a difference to the charity.
Till support
Taking and processing payments from customers including cash and card payments. Process gift cards. Supporting staff to process exchanges and returns. Accepting over the till donations and sharing information about the Aegis Trust
Stock preparation
Helping in our donation centre to sort the fantastic donations we receive behind the scenes. You'll get involved with the full life cycle of our donations right from sorting all the way to preparation ready for them to hit the rails in store.
Visual Merchandising
Deliver high standards in visual merchandising through creative flair, keeping the shop clean, tidy and looking fab! Volunteers can support with shop display, windows dressing and styling mannequins with new in trend driven stock.
Social Media
An exciting opportunity to support with managing different social media channels. Creating content, sharing new in stock and campaigns across all channels with an aim to maximise engagement and raise awareness of White Rose and the Aegis Trust.
Upcycling and repairs
Join the upcycling & repairs team and be part of a growing recycling community. Help us to transform unsellable donations into new garments, using sewing and embroidery skills. Have fun finding creative ways to make every donation count, preventing further clothing from going to landfill, saving the world one stitch at a time!
Photography
An exciting opportunity to produce high-resolution images. Capturing staff, volunteers, stores both inside and out to potential use on different social media channels, our website and posters with an aim to maximise engagement and raise awareness of White Rose and the Aegis Trust.
Fundraising
Taking part in a fundraising event is a great way to help you raise money for White Rose. Fundraise your way, from a bake sale, kicking a habit, the big shave to running a marathon. Challenge yourself and help a great cause.
